About Amoxycillin 1000 Mg & Clavulanic Acid 200 Mg Injection

DetailsCombination with wide spectrum of activity against both gram positive and gram negative organisms. Achieves higher serum and cerero-spinal fluid concentration than ampicilin. Attains high concentration in bladder, providing high sensitivity against staph infections in the bladder. Amoxicillin-clavulanic acid has promising activity against pathogens that cause bone infections. Dosage: Injection: Adult: 1-2 gm 8 hourly, max 1.2 g 4 hourly, Pediatric; 30 mg / kg 12 hourly max 30 mg / kg 8 hourly Oral: Adutl: 625 mg. every 12 hrs or 375 mg every 8 hours; severe infections 625 mg every 8 hours, pediatric-45 mg / kg / day every 12 hourly.
