Product Description
- Better tolerated than amoxicillin/clavulanate with a lower incidence of gastrointestinal side effects , in treatment of acute otitis media in children.
- Exhibits 96.5% cure rate and is better tolerated than erythromycin in the treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis
- Results in marked reduction in cytokine levels and exhibits anti-inflammatory effect thus beneficial in cystic fibrosis lung disease
- Modulate IL-8 levels and neutrophil accumulation thereby reduces neutrophilic inflammation, in asthma.
- Dosage:
- Child: 7.5 mg / kg Bid
- Adult: 250-500 mg bid depending upon severity of infection
