Product Description
- Effective & well tolerated combination in patients with type 2 diabetes indadequatley controlled with sulphonylurea monotherapy.
- Combination provides an additional glycaemic control (lower blood glucose by 20%) and obviates the need for insulin.
- Metformin and gliclazide are pharmacokinetically compatible since metformin is not bound to plasma protein and does not get metabolized in the liver, so interation with gliclazide (which is highly protein bound 80-90% and metabolised in the liver) is a very rare possibility.
Dosage:
