Product Description
- Broad spectrum Antibacterial activity against Gram Positive, Gram Negative,a typicals and anaerobes.
- In Acute Bacterial Exacerbtion of Chronic Bronchitis (ABECB) 97.1% pathogens are suspectible to levofloxacin while 90.6% are susceptible to amoxi/clav.
- Levofloxacin(250 mg.OD) showed equivalent efficacy compared with ofloxacin (200 mg.BID) in Acute Uncimplicated bacterial Cystitis with lesser side effects.
- Levofloxacin 500 mg OD is as effective as and well tolerated than Cefuroxime Axetil 250 mg b.i.d for 7-10 days in treatment of AECB in adult patients
