Product Description
Details- Lafutidine is a second generation histamine H2 receptor antagonist having multi model mechanism of action & used to treat gastrointestinal disorders.
- Lafutidine is devoid of hypergastrinemia (High gastrin content in blood) which is more frequent & more severe with PPI which may predispose to rebound hypersecretion of gastric acid upon discontinuation of therapy and promote the growth of gastrointestinal tumors
- Single dose (10 mg) of lafutidine is able to increase intragastric pH more quickly than a single dose (20 mg) of Rabeprazole
- Lafutidine has been found to block the attachment of H. pylori with the gastric cells, thereby preventing diseases like peptic ulcer
